Other LPU students also bagged notable placements with leading industry Giants including Amazon, Google, Bosch, Capgemini, Cognizant and many more.

Further adding to the academic achievements, a group of seven LPU students were shortlisted among Microsoft Student Partners from all across India for their commendable contributions in Community Development. They also interacted with Global Program Manager Pablo Veramendi, Developer Relation Managers and fellow MSPs during the national summit!

The PhD scholars at LPU, Rubiya Khursheed and Barinder Kaur have conducted groundbreaking research. Academics aside, Manju Rani, a first-year B.Sc student at LPU recently won the gold medal in women’s 48 kg weight category at the 3rd Elite Women’s National Boxing Championship held at Vijayanagara, Karnataka. After this achievement, she is all set to get trained from the internationally acclaimed boxer Mary Kom and other renowned women boxers to further push for gold in the 2020 Olympics.

In their bid to foster social good, LPU students also participated in a marathon for cancer awareness. Students here are deeply engaged in community service projects and local engagement initiatives.

The overall development of a student is pivotal

The faculty at LPU believes in honing the innate talent of its students in addition to giving them the right support and guidance to carve their niche. Ample attention is paid to the academic aspect, further ensuring that each and every student is able to keep up with the pace of the subjects being taught. At the same time, student involvement in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities is proactively encouraged, to let them explore their own capabilities and interests.

These things taken together make their learning experiential and real-time, which in turn ensures their all-round development, thereby preparing them to face real-world challenges and Think BIG. To know more about LPU and its student’s achievements, visit: www.lpu.in
